ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan inaugurated Ehsaas Saylani Langar Scheme in Islamabad on Monday to provide free food to the needy and deserving people. Speaking on the occasion, the prime minister said that the change will come gradually. “People say 13 months have passed and where the change and New Pakistan are. We are introducing a change in the entire system, including the police,” he said. He said that the country will change and everyone will be witness to it. “The government is fully facilitating the business community.” PM Imran Khan announced that 1,200 ‘Langarkhanas’ would be opened by the end of the next year. The prime minister said that Allah Almighty showers His blessings on those who serve humanity. “We are facing a little difficulty. We will try to feed all the hungry people in the country,” he said. Special Assistant for Social Protection & Poverty Alleviation Sania Nishtar said that Ehsaas is opening its first ‘Langar’ in Islamabad in collaboration with Saylani Welfare International Trust. “It will help reduce inequality and invest in people through public private partnership model,” she added.
