ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Renowned religious scholar Maulana Tariq Jamil called on Prime Minister Imran Khan at PM House on Wednesday. They discussed several different matters, including the construction of a temple in Islamabad. The lockdown has made the middle class jobless. We enforced the smart lockdown keeping in view the problems of the small section of the society,” he said. The prime minister said that the future is very uncertain as they do not know how long the economy will take to recover from the impacts of the pandemic. “We are praying that vaccine is discovered to cure the virus. in the meantime, we need to share our experiences and exchange ideas to protect our vulnerable groups,” he said. He said that the Pakistani government had provided cash assistance to the labourers under the Ehsas Program after completing their registration process. “It was the first time in Pakistan's history that such a huge money was disbursed in such a short space of time. It saved us from the worst effects of the lockdown,” he added.
