ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan, President Arif Alvi, federal ministers and PTI leaders attended a ceremony held for Adviser to PM on Political Affairs Naeemul Haq who died of cancer. Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Noorul Haq Qadri and others prayed for the departed soul. Naeemul Haque, one of the senior-most members of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), was laid to rest at Gizri Graveyard of Phase 4 DHA on Sunday. Sindh Governor Imran Ismail, National Assembly Deputy Speaker Qasim Suri and members of national and provincial assembly were present when Naeemul Haque was laid to rest. Earlier, the funeral prayers of PTI stalwart were offered at Masjid Ayesha at Khyaban-e-Ittehad in DHA Karachi after Asr prayers. Minister for Interior Ijaz Shah and Special Assistant on Information Firdous Ashiq Awan visited the house of Naeemul Haq before the funeral and condoled his sad demise with his family. A large number of people, including the federal ministers and PTI leaders, attended the funeral of Naeemul Haq. A banker and businessman by profession and one of the co-founders of the ruling party, Haque was instrumental in promoting positive change in Pakistan as part of the PTI’s ideology.
