PM Imran Khan proposes Justice (retd) Gulzar Ahmed as caretaker PM

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Prime Minister Imran Khan on Monday proposed the name of Justice (retd) Gulzar Ahmed as the caretaker prime minister.

Meanwhile, Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) spokesperson Hafiz Hamadullah has termed the letter sent to Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif for consultation for the caretaker prime minister as joke.

Hafiz Hamadullah said that President Arif Alvi, Prime Minister Imran Khan, Speaker Asad Qaisar and Deputy Speaker Qasim Suri are responsible for the unconstitutional step.

"Under the unconstitutional ruling, the deputy speaker tried to term the opposition leader a traitor. President Arif Alvi dissolved the assembly on the advice of PM Imran Khan," he maintained.

He said that the President had made his office a joke through his unconstitutional and contradictory decisions.
