ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that he would quit, but would not give the NRO.

In an interview with a private TV on Saturday, he said that Mushrraf had given the NRO to the PPP and the PML-N and these NROs caused a great loss to the country.

He said that the coronavirus cases are increasing in the country. "We will not allow the conduct of public meetings. Cases will be registered against those installing the sound system and arranging chairs," he added.

"Faith in Allah and family system are two main powers of the eastern society. The thought of slavery is promoted in the colonial system. A change came within me after watching the eastern and western societies," he said.

The prime minister said that he had watched a big welfare state in the UK. "In the West, the concept of welfare state is the concept of humanity. In a welfare state, the poor are granted the equal rights," he maintained.

He urged the people to follow the teachings of Dr Allama Muhammad Iqbal. "My role model is the great personality of the Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH). We are starting a PhD in Seerat-un-Nabi (PBHU) in Sargodha University," he said.

He said that the government is also introducing modern education in seminaries.
