PM Imran Khan says opposition's role in FATF bill is negative

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that the role of the opposition in the Financial Action Task Force (FATF). During a consultative meeting with party leaders on Thursday, the prime minister said that they would get the national interest bill approved in the joint session of the parliament likely to be summoned next week. "We cannot be intimidated by blackmailing. Country's economy is stabilizing. The conditions will deteriorate if the country is included on the black list," he added. Prime Minister Imran Khan said that the government and all institutions are on the same page on the FATF bill. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Imran Khan informed PTI secretary general Amir Kayani about the plan for big cities. He asked Amir Kayani to activate the PTI in Sindh and Punjab.
