ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan has termed the 18th Amendment a hurdle in the progress of Karachi. Addressing a ceremony in Karachi through the video link on Saturday, he said that Karachi cannot be put on the track through mere the provincial funds. “Under the new local government system, Metropolitan will itself collect its funds. Pakistan’s progress is linked to the progress of the province,” he said. The prime minister expressed the resolve to introduce the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab-like police system. He excused for cancelling his visit to Karachi due to the rain. Earlier talking to his social media team, Prime Minister Imran Khan said that it becomes difficult to handle the situation after the statement of the minister when the opposition does nothing. “There are some ministers who spend more time in Kohsar Market than their offices. When I see the mobile phone in the morning, I come to know how many crises I have to face today,” he said. The prime minister said that fake news are disseminated against the government. “The reporters should confirm a news before attacking the government,” he said.
