PM Imran Khan tests negative for coronavirus
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan coronavirus has tested negative on Wednesday. According to the reports, the test report of the prime minister has been received. The test reports showed that PM Khan been tested negative for the novel coronavirus also known as COVID-19. Yesterday, Imran Khan gave the sample for the coronavirus test after a person meeting him tested positive for COVID-19. He earlier met Faisal Edhi, founder Edhi foundation, who was tested positive for the virus. PM's Focal Person on COVID-19 Dr Faisal Sultan Tuesday said that diagnostic test of Prime Minister Imran Khan for the novel coronavirus will be carried out. He stated this during a joint media briefing along with the prime minister and other ministers. "I am happy to announce that the prime minister, being a responsible prime minister and a responsible citizen, has agreed to get tested on my advice." Earlier, Edhi Foundation head Dr Faisal Edhi, who tested positive for coronavirus after meeting Prime Minister Imran Khan, had requested the prime minister to undergo a test. The Edhi Foundation spokesperson confirmed the report. Corona virus is spreading across the country as Faisal Edhi’s coronavirus test was conducted in Islamabad. Faisal Edhi had undergone the corona test at a private hospital. The report emerged today which was positive. After the test result, Faisal Edhi himself quarantined and self-isolated. According to sources, after the positive results of Faisal Edhi, some staff of Edhi Foundation and Faisal Edhi’s family will also screened through corona tests. Faisal had also met Prime Minister Imran Khan and presented him a check for the Corona Relief Fund. After Faisal Edhi’s test, the prime minister’s focal person said that he will suggest the prime minister for Corona test due to the current fears of circumstances. He also said that PM Khan is currently busy in the cabinet meeting.
