PM Imran Khan urges national team to play T20 World Cup fearlessly

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan has urged the national team to play the T20 World Cup fearlessly.

During a meeting with the T20 squad on Wednesday, he said that the players should respond through the best performance under the present circumstances.

He also gave tips to the national cricket team and encouraged them. "You should play like lions while taking all the players along you," he added.

The prime minister also advised the team not to worry over the defeat. Sharing his experiences, he said that the team playing the defending game never wins. "We introduced the attacking technique in cricket. Man learns from his defeats. The nation has high expectations with the team, which should become strong through hard work," he advised.

PCB chairman Ramiz Raja, Special Assistant to PM on Political Affairs Dr Shahbaz Gill and Senator Faisal Javed were also present.
