DERA GHAZI KHAN (92 News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan inspected a quarantine centre established in the district to monitor the suspected patients on Wednesday.
Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar and the DG Khan commissioner briefed the prime minister about the steps taken for the screening of suspected patients to check coronavirus, residence, food and drinking facilities at the Command and Control Room.
Sources said that the prime minister had expressed indignation at lack of facilities in quarantine centres. He directed the staff concerned not to compromise on the standards of the facilities.
The prime minister directed the officials concerned to conduct complete screening of the people entering the country from the bordering countries.
Adviser to Prime Minister on Health Dr Zafar Mirza and the NDMA chairman were also present.
