PM Imran Khan vows to continue fight against terrorists

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Strongly condemning attacks in Turbat and Quetta, Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan on Tuesday vowed to continue fight against terrorists.

In tweet, PM Imran Khan strongly condemned the attacks in Turbat and Quetta in which four Frontier Corps (FC) personnel embraced martyrdom. He also vowed to continue the fight against terrorists.

"The government will not allow terrorists to sabotage peace and development in Balochistan," he tweeted.

“Strongly condemn terrorist attacks against our soldiers in Balochistan last night, martyring 4 soldiers & injuring 8. My prayers & condolences go to the martyrs families. We will continue our fight ag these terrorists & will not allow them to sabotage peace & dev in Balochistan.”

Earlier, four Frontier Constabulary jawans were martyred and six injured in attacks by terrorists in Quetta and Turbat. According to a press release issued by the ISPR, 4-5 terrorists were killed and 7-8 others were injured when the security forces responded near Pir Ismail Ziarat.

During the exchange of fire, four brave FC soldiers embraced martyrdom while six soldiers got injured.

In the second incident, terrorists targeted FC vehicle with IED at Turbat. Resultantly, two FC soldiers were injured.

The DG ISPR said that such coward acts by inimical elements backed by anti-state forces and HIAs cannot sabotage the hard earned peace and prosperity in Balochistan. "Security forces are determined to neutralise their nefarious designs even at the cost of blood and lives," he declared.
