PM Imran Khan will announce a relief package soon, says CM Usman Buzdar

MULTAN (92 News) – Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has said that Prime Minister Imran Khan will announce a relief package soon to save the people from price-hike.

Talking to the media on Tuesday, he said that a separate secretariat of the Southern Punjab had been established. "We will also fulfill the promise of establishing a province," he added.

The chief minister said that over 70,000 jobs would be provided in different departments, including education. "The opposition should not worry as the government will complete the five-year term. The government is strong and the opposition is raising a hue and cry," he added.

He said that action would be taken against the officer exceeding their powers. "The shortage of officers is being overcome to improve the performance of the government," he added. The chief minister also visited the corona vaccination mobile centre at Tank Chowk and monitored the vaccination process.

Later, Punjab CM Usman Buzdar inaugurated projects worth Rs 9 billion. The projects include upgradation of Rural Health Centre Khurrianwala, Tandlianwala Cricket Stadium, upgradation of RHC Khurrianwala to 60 beds.

State Minister for Information Furrukh Habib, provincial ministers and Faisalabad-based lawmakers were also present.
