PM Imran Khan wishes Happy Diwali to Hindu community

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan, in a tweet, has wished a very Happy Diwali to the Hindu community in Pakistan and beyond.

Meanwhile, Senate Chairman Sadiq Sanjrani has congratulated the Hindu community on Diwali. "Diwali is the festival of the light and colours. We will have to jointly fill colours in the life of each other for the bright future of Pakistan," he added.

The Senate chairman said that they could expedite the process of progress through interfaith harmony and respect. "All minorities have equal rights in the constitution and law of Pakistan. The Hindu community has a big role in the progress of the country," he said.

On the other hand, PML-N president Shehbaz Sharif, vice-president Marayam Nawaz and PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari have congratulated the Hindu community on Diwali.
