PM Imran to attend UN General Assembly session next month

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Prime Minister Imran Khan will depart for United States next month to attend the 74th session of the United Nations General Assembly.

The premier, who will leave for New York on September 23, will address the session first time on September 27 and take up the matter of Indian atrocities committed the in occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

Sources said initial schedule for the PM's travel has been prepared and that he will fly via a private plane. 

Prime Minister Imran Khan will also meet Malaysian Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamed and other world leaders on the sidelines of the session.

Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi will accompany the premier who will stay at the residence of the ambassador or the consul general at the embassy.

Mr Khan will also meet Pakistani investors and businessmen during his four-day visit.

Mr Qureshi will leave for US before PM's scheduled visit to give final nod to the arrangements.
