People slinging mud on others can’t build nation, says PM Nawaz Sharif

TURBAT (92 News) – Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has on Wednesday said that public service is the only way to come to power. Addressing the inaugural ceremony of Hoshab-Pangur-Sorab Road at Turbat on Wednesday, he expressed resolve of the government to transform the entire socio-economic landscape of Balochistan. The prime minister said that the menace of terrorism is being eliminated from the country, adding that the peace is being restored in the country. Nawaz Sharif regretted that Balochistan remained neglected in the past, adding that the development and progress is right of people of Balochistan. The prime minister said that those slinging mud on others cannot build the nation. “The year of 2018 will decide who played with sentiments of the youth,” he maintained. The 448 kilometer road under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) has been completed at a cost of over 22 billion rupees to link Gwadar Port with National Highway network. It will also provide shortest link to Afghanistan and Central Asian Republics. The Prime Minister described completion of this project as making of new Balochistan and new Pakistan. He expressed the confidence that its completion would create enormous economic and commercial activities and help overcome the challenge of poverty, backwardness, ignorance and unemployment in the region. Nawaz Sharif further announced construction of Hoshab-Avaran-Lasbela road, to be jointly financed by the Federal and the Provincial Governments.
