My speedy work will frighten ex-PM, but people's panic is over: PM Shehbaz Sharif

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has said that his speedy work will frighten the former premier, but people's panic is over.

Talking to the media after inaugurating the Metro Bus Service from Peshawar Morr to Islamabad Airport on Monday, he said that they are meeting the defence expenditures through the loans after the destruction of the former government.

"Now the people will have to decide whether they will support service or they will support lies and deception," he added.

The prime minister said that the CPEC project will prove to be game-changer. "Turkey and China have always cooperated in the progress of Pakistan," he added.

He said that Nawaz Sharif had given this gift to the people of Islamabad in 2017. "Those travelling by helicopter did not think about the public facility. Only incompetence was responsible for the delay in the project. As a result, the country suffered a loss of Rs4 billion," he added.

The prime minister said that the government had borrowed 15 buses from the Punjab Transport Authority for the Metro project.
