Whoever wants to see ‘Naya Pakistan’ can come to Multan: PM

MULTAN (92 News) – Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has on Tuesday said that he has not come to Multan to do politics or mislead the people but give the gift of metro bus to the dwellers of Multan. Addressing the ceremony in connection with inauguration of Metro bus service in Multan, he said that whoever wants to see ‘Naya Pakistan’ can come to Multan. The premier said that the expanding the network of metro bus will provide modern transport facilities to the commuters. He said: “Some parties made big slogans of carving out new Pakistan but there are no modern transport facilities available in the province governed by them.” The ceremony was attended by Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif, Punjab Governor Rafiq Rajwana, Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah, other government representatives and ambassadors of more than 30 different countries. The prime minister took a ride of bus and inspected different sections of route. The Multan Metro Bus Project has been completed in 20 months, while a sigh of relief for citizens. Around 18.5 kilometers long track has been completed at a cost of over Rs 28 billion. Initially 35 buses will be run and approximately 95,000 people will travel by these buses daily.
