Earlier today, PM Imran Khan has directed Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi to consult the opposition once again on the National Action Plan (NAP).
The foreign minister called on the prime minister. During the meeting, PM Khan directed FM Qureshi to remove the oppostions’s reservations regarding the meeting and the opposition members should be briefed wherever they please.
It was reported that the premier also instructed the foreign after removing the reservations of opposition, the dialogue on the matter of military courts should also move forward.
However, the minister has said that they are ready to brief the opposition members in the chambers of Leader of Opposition in National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif. “Along with parliamentary members, I am ready to brief the whole House,” he explained.

The prime minister and FM Qureshi
also discussed the appointment of vacant posts of members of the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) during the meeting.
Earlier, the prime minister chaired the first-ever
meeting of the National Internal Security Committee
at the Prime Minister’s Office.
Pakistan to not allow any militant group to operate in country
Prime Minister Imran Khan has reiterated Pakistan’s commitment not to allow any militant group operate in the country or use its territory for any militant activity within or outside Pakistan.
