ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan laid foundation stone of Baba Guru Nanak University in Nankana Sahib on Monday. PM Imran Khan had left for Nankana Sahib from Allama Iqbal International Airport after reaching Lahore where he was received by Punjab Governor Chaudhry Sarwar and Chief Minister (CM) Sardar Usman Buzdar. During his visit to Nankana Sahib, the Prime Minister Imran Khan will preside over meetings on health reforms, Naya Pakistan Housing Scheme and law and order situation. Arriving back in Lahore, PM Imran will be briefed on the latest health condition of former prime minister and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supremo Nawaz Sharif and MIT Act. The prime minister will visit one-day official trip to Lahore. During his visit, he will meet with Punjab Governor Chaudhry Sarwar and Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar. This was stated by Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting Firdous Ashiq Awan in a tweet today. “It is fulfilment of another promise by Prime Minister with the Sikh community,” she said. Firdous Ashiq Awan said the seed of interfaith harmony sown by Imran Khan in the form of Kartarpur Corridor, would become a shadowy tree of tolerance and harmony for followers of different religions.
