PM likely to visit Saudi Arabia before US visit: sources

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan is likely to visit Saudi Arabia before visit to United States, sources said. According to the sources, the prime minister will travel to Saudi Arabia before his visit to US where the prime minister will address the 74th session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA). During his visit to Saudi Arabia, the premier is expected to meet important leaders including Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad Bin Salman Al Saud. During his last visit to the Kingdom, prime minister represented Pakistan at the 14th Summit of Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) in Makkah. It is pertinent to mention here that the visit of PM Imran Khan is very important during the current situation of region. PM Imran Khan will represent his country at the UN General Assembly (UNGA) next month, where he will address the international community on the Kashmir issue. The Prime Minister's Office said that Khan will embark on a four-day visit to the US on September 23 and his General Debate speech is scheduled for September 27. He will also hold meetings with his Malaysian counterpart as well as other world leaders on the sidelines of the session, besides meeting representatives from the Pakistani diaspora and business community in the US.
