PM Nawaz chairs NEC meeting

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – A meeting of the National Economic Council (NEC) chaired by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is in progress in Islamabad.

It is expected to approve the Annual Development Plan for the next financial year besides reviewing the achievements of the on-going plan.

The Annual Plan Coordination Committee has already recommended to the NEC development programme worth 2113 billion rupees for the next financial year.

The meeting is being attended amongst others by the federal and provincial ministers, Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, provincial chief ministers and the prime minister of Azad Kashmir.
