PM Nawaz Sharif orders to set up centre for Pakistanis stranded in Dammam

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has taken notice of the news aired by 92 News and announced all-out help for the Pakistanis stranded in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. A spokesman for the PM House said that the prime minister had directed the Pakistani Consulate to set up a centre to facilitate the stranded Pakistanis. The Embassy will also help the Pakistanis with regard to the wages of the laborers. The spokesman said that the stranded Pakistanis should be provided food and medical facilities. “The Embassy will provide traveling facilities for the repatriation of the Pakistanis,” he said. He said that Saudi King Salman had ordered immediate payment of the withheld salaries. “We are with our brothers working hard to earn their livelihood. We are proud of Pakistanis living abroad. All steps will be taken to help the Pakistanis going through this ordeal,” the spokesman quoted Nawaz Sharif as saying.
