PM Nawaz Sharif cannot bypass cabinet: SC

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Justice Mian Saqib Nisar has on Thursday said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif cannot approve any bill without the approval of cabinet and the parliament. Supreme Court Justice Saqib Nisar while announcing the reserved verdict has nullified notification of increased imposition of levy tax on petitions filed by the private companies. The court stated that bypassing the cabinet by the federal government and federal ministers is wrong and the prime minister cannot pass any law by bypassing the cabinet. “No notification that is issued by the Prime Minister single-handedly is by the law.”
