PM Nawaz Sharif chairs high-level meeting

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has on Friday held an important high-level meeting to discuss different issues including war on terror, security situation and Rangers powers.

Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar, Finance Minister Ishaq Dar, Federal Minister for information and Broadcasting Pervaiz Rashid, Ahsan Iqbal, and Prime Minister’s advisers attended the meeting.

During the meeting, matters pertaining to security situation in the country, National Action Plan, Rangers powers and extension in Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif’s tenure were discussed.

Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar briefed the prime minister regarding his point of view on Opposition leader in National Assembly Khurshid Shah, however, Nawaz Sharif stressed the need to resolve issues with mututal understanding.
