LONDON (92 News) – Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has expressed his condolences to the family, loved ones and fans of the late boxer Muhammad Ali. In his tweets, he said: “For the past half a century, Muhammad Ali has been an inspiration for not only young Americans, but also young men and women of the world. He is a shining example of defying the odds with perseverance and a positive attitude. His legacy has not only impacted modern boxing,” he said. The prime minister said that Muhammad Ali had been an instrumental figure in changing social, political and religious narratives surrounding minorities in the West. “We are in his debt. The world is truly poorer without him,” he said. President Mamnoon Hussain, Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif, Balochistan CM Sanaullah Zehri, PTI chairman Imran Khan and Pakistan-born British boxer Muhammad Amir Have also expressed their heartfelt grief over the death of the legend.
