PM Nawaz Sharif offers India to bridge distances, urges to resolve issues through dialogues

NEW YORK (92 News) – Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has on Thursday while offering India to bridge distances said that he had the opportunity to explain Pakistan’s position to the world in  his UN General Assembly address. Addressing a press conference in New York on Thursday, he said that UN resolution on Kashmir has its own sensitivity, adding that some countries are using war on terror to suppress the right of self-determination of the people of Jammu and Kashmir. The prime minister said that conventional issues should be resolved through dialogues. Answering a question, Nawaz Sharif said he had an interesting and comprehensive meeting with the UN Secretary General Ban-ki Moon. Commenting on the Pak-Afghan relations, the prime minister said that Afghanistan and Pakistan have an agreement not to bring complaints on media, adding that they have informed the Afghan leadership after recent Badaber base camp attack. He said that steps are being taken for the return of Malala Yousufzai. “I want to see Pakistan strengthening,” the prime minister said.
