ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif performed the ground-breaking of Metro Bus Link project to be constructed from Peshawar Morr to New Islamabad International Airport on Saturday.

He also inspected work on New Islamabad International Airport.

Speaking on the occasion, the prime minister said that there are so many cases of corruption in the country. “A lot of things are still to be investigated.”

He prayed that may Allah show the right path to his opponents. “We restored sick projects. The projects completing in two years are not completed for 20 years,” he maintained.

The Metro Bus Link project will be completed by National Highway Authority (NHA) in four phases with a total length of 25.6 Km, nine bus stations, 12 bridges and 11 underpasses.

About 95 per cent work on terminal building has been completed with a capacity of handling 4,500 passengers at a time.

The state-of-the-art 15 aircraft docking stations are complete. International Standard Air Traffic Control system is being installed.
