PM Nawaz to attend nuke summit, says Nafees Zakaria

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Pakistan Foreign Office spokesperson Nafees Zakaria has on Thursday said that they will extend all out support to the Pakistanis stranded at the Moscow airport. Addressing the weekly briefing in Islamabad on Thursday, Nafees Zakaria declared Indian objections on the participation of Hurriyat leaders on the occasion of Pakistan day, unjustified. He strongly condemned the Tuesday’s Brussels blast and expressed grief and sorrow over the loss of lives. The spokesman said that around 132 Pakistanis had been stranded at different airports in Russian, adding that 48 have been deported to Istanbul, while 84 others were still present at the Moscow airport but rejected that Pakistan’s Russian embassy was not doing anything. Zakaria said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will visit Washington to attend the fourth nuclear security summit on 31st of this month, adding that Pakistan's participation in the summit at the level of the prime minister manifests the importance Pakistan attaches to the nuclear security.
