PM pays surprise visit to PIMS, Polyclinic Hospital

ISLAMABAD (News) – Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan on Tuesday paid a surprise visit to Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) and Polyclinic in Islamabad on Tuesday night. During his visit, the prime minister reviewed medical services offered to the patients. He also inquired about health of patients and inspected the treatment facilities being provided to them. He also directed hospitals' administration that standard health facilities and treatment should be provided to them. “Treatment facilities at the Polyclinic Hospital are satisfactory,” PM Khan said. He reportedly expressed concern over the lack of space in the hospital for patients. He said it was necessary to expand the hospital so that more people can avail treatment there. The premier went to the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences afterwards. Imran Khan was accompanied by Special Assistant on Healthcare Dr Zafar Mirza during the visit.
