PM pays surprise visit to shelter home in Rawalpindi

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan on Wednesday paid surprise visit to shelter home in Rawalpindi. During the surprise visit, the prime minister reviewed the facilities being provided to homeless people on the eve of Shab-e-Miraj-un-Nabi (Peace Be Upon Him). During interaction with the homeless people, the prime minister asked about the facilities being provided to them. He expressed satisfaction over the facilities provided at the shelter home. The premier said that state was responsible for provision of food, shelter and guardianship of the helpless people. He said that the government would make every possible effort to facilitate the helpless people. PM Khan also appreciated the contribution of philanthropists in construction of shelter homes. He directed to build more shelter homes across the country so as to provide shelter, food and other necessities to homeless people.
PM Imran pays surprise visit to Benazir Bhutto Hospital
Earlier Jan 15,  the prime  minister visited the Benazir Bhutto Hospital in Rawalpindi on Tuesday night. Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Media Iftikhar Durrani, Minister for Health Aamir Kiani and Senator Faisal Javed joined PM Khan for the surprise visit. The prime minister appreciated the administration for health facilities being provided to the patients. Aamir Kiani briefed the PM about the facilities and arrangements. PM Imran inspected different parts of Hospital including children’s unit of the medical facility.

PM pays surprise visit to Rawalpindi DHQ hospital

Earlier, Prime Minister Imran Khan on Monday paid surprise visit to the Rawalpindi District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital without any protocol. Suring the surprise visit of the prime minister, the police was also not informed. Imran Khan inquired about the health of the patients and examined the different wards during his visit to the hospital. He examined the facilities which are being provided to the patients. However, the patients expressed their grievances that they have to purchase the medicines from outside the hospitals. The premier expressed reservations on the provisions of the facilities to patients. He said that the government is providing billion of rupees for medicines and still patients are not getting free medicines. On the other hand, PM Imran Khan also visited shelter homes and inspected the projects.
PM inaugurates shelter homes in Peshawar
Earlier on Dec 14, 2018, PM Imran Khan inaugurated a newly established shelter home for homeless people at Pajaggi road, Peshawar. The prime minister also inspected different sections of the shelter home and he was briefed about the shelter home.
First lady Bushra Bibi visits shelter home in Lahore
First lady of Pakistan Bushra Bibi visited a shelter home in the city. Bushra Begum was accompanied by her friend Farah Khan. As per details, the wife of Prime Minister Imran Khan directed to complete the work at the shelter home as soon as possible. “All basic facilities including a proper meal should be provided to the homeless,” she added.
Later, Bushra Bibi visited Data Darbar, the shrine of 11th century Sufi saint Syed Ali Hajveri (R.A).
