MIANWALI (92 News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan performed the groundbreaking of different welfare projects in health, education and communication sectors today in Mianwali. On the occasion, he was also given a detailed briefing on the projects. Later, the premier will also address a public gathering. Imran Khan performed the groundbreaking of Mother and Child Hospital and Sargodha-Mianwali Road. The prime minister inaugurated Mianwali University. He will also inaugurate other development projects while he will also review the infrastructure in the district. It was also reported that PM Imran will address a public gathering during his Mianwali visit. It added that he will also visit NUML college and meet with the local and assembly members. Earlier, PM Khan has said that the country is running on adhocism and long-term policies are not being formed. Addressing a ceremony held to distribute tax-refund cheques among exporters on Wednesday, he said that long-term policies will make a significant improvement in the country. “The country cannot be stabilized until it is in deficit,” he said. The prime minister said that the government is fully focusing on the industry and controlling smuggling. “Had there been no corruption the country would have touched new height through reserves worth billions of rupees.” He said that they are thankful to Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan for waiving the charges of Rs170 billion in the Karkay case.
