PM performs groundbreaking of Naya Pakistan Housing Scheme in Renala Khurd

RENALA KHURD (92 News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan performed the groundbreaking of Naya Pakistan Housing Scheme in Renala Khurd on Saturday. Speaking on the occasion, he said that the project would be started across the country after Punjab. “The construction of houses was a difficult project and for this reason, other governments could not start it. The previous governments did easy tasks and we are doing the difficult tasks,” he added. He said that the society having no feeling cannot survive for long. The prime minister said that Madina was the first welfare state. “Allah Almighty helps when the state cares for the poor. Animals are looked after in the welfare state,” he said. He said that the private sector would construct five million houses. “The best flats will be constructed in Kachi Abadis under pre-fabricated system,” he said. Meanwhile, the Punjab cabinet had already approved the release of Rs five billion to the Punjab Housing and Town Planning Agency for the Naya Pakistan Housing Scheme.
Elimination of corruption govt’s foremost priority: PM
Prime Minister Imran Khan has said eliminating corruption is the foremost priority of the present government. Talking to the Director General Anti-Corruption Ejaz Hussain Shah in Lahore on Saturday, he said the curse of corruption has not only inflicted irreparable damage to the economy but also destroyed the institutions, affecting the lives of the common man. The prime minister said that corruption and development cannot go together. Imran Khan stressed that elimination of corruption and indiscriminate action against corrupt elements should be taken as a mission. He assured the government would extend full cooperation in this regard. Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar was also present on the occasion.
