ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Interior Minister Ch Nisar said that he offered to resign, but Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif rejected it. Addressing a press conference on Saturday, he said that he had not met a delegation of the Ahle Sunnat Wal Jamaat. He said that the district administration had allowed the banned outfit to hold a meeting. The minister said that the last meeting of the NACTA Executive Committee was held two years ago. “The NACTA Board meeting relates to the prime minister,” he disclosed. He said that the appointment of the Special Secretary is as per law. Ch Nisar said that he would present his stance before the masses and the Supreme Court. “Today I am in an aggressive mood,” he said. He said that his character assassination is going on in the media for the last two days. The minister was of the view that he could not think that such thing would surface. “The Supreme Court is the place of peace and justice. Even an accused is allowed to speak in the Supreme Court,” he said. Ch Nisar said that security of the country is sensitive.
