ISLAMABAD (92 News) - PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz said on Wednesday that Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan remarks linking rape to women’s clothes represents a criminal mindset.

It is pertinent to mention here that PM Khan said in an interview with Jonathan Swan, “If a woman is wearing a very few clothes, it will have an impact on men unless they are robots.”

Addressing a press conference in Islamabad, the PML-N vice president mentioned that the premier's comments has revealed to the nation what kind of mindset he has.

"Who gave the government - which has been imposed through stealing votes - the right to mortgage the nation's projects?, Maryam questioned, while criticizing the cabinet's decisions.

The PML-N leader said that Nawaz Sharif implemented mega projects for the nation. "You are trying to get loan to mortgage on these projects for rewarding the mafia. Show me a brick you have laid," she added.

She further said that PM Imran Khan had no right to comment on Pakistan's nuclear programme. She maintained that the premier was not the custodian of the country's nuclear programme, rather Pakistan's population of 22 billion was its custodian, for which the people and the leaders had made sacrifices.

"You [the prime minister] should not even talk about Kashmir, on which you have made a deal," she said, adding that if the premier believed he could start a new debate by making such remarks, he was wrong."
