ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Friday announced that the coalition government will hand over the power to the caretaker set-up in August.

In his address to the nation on Thursday, he said that the coalition government had brought the country out of difficulties by dint of hard work and collective vision.

The prime minister said that they had sacrificed their politics to save the state. "We put out the fire lit up in different departments, including economy and foreign relations. We have devised a comprehensive plan for the revival of economy," he declared.

He said that the coalition government had cleared the debris of the destruction caused by the former government during the last four years.

PM Shehbaz Sharif said that Finance Minister Ishaq Dar and COAS Asim Munir had worked a lot for the stability of economy. "We will again put the country on the path of progress under the leadership of Nawaz Sharif. The former rulers remain active for the failure of the IMF agreement. The unholy wish of the anti-state elements has been defeated after receiving the IMF amount," he maintained.

He said that Pakistan will never forget the cooperation extended by China, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. "The United Nations has declared the human rights situation in Pakistan as better," he added.
