PM Shehbaz Sharif asks President Arif Alvi to abstain from unconstitutional acts

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has asked President Arif Alvi to abstain from the unconstitutional acts.

Addressing a meeting on the political situation on Thursday, he said that the Election Commission of Pakistan is an autonomous institution. "The government will implement whatever decision will be made by the Election Commission of Pakistan," he added.

The prime minister said that PTI's so-called 'Jail Bharo' movement had failed. "The people have rejected the politics of anarchy," he added.

The meeting demanded that Justice Ejazul Ahsan and Justice Mazahar Naqvi should distance themselves from the cases related to the PML-N.
