PM Shehbaz Sharif, Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain discuss political situation

LAHORE (92 News) - Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif called on PML-Q chief Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain.

During the meeting, they discuss political situation in the country.

According to sources, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif contacted Nawaz Sharif and the coalition leaders in which detailed consultation was held with the allied leaders on the current situation. The prime minister informed the opinion of the party members about bringing a no-confidence motion against Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi or asking him to take a vote of confidence. The majority of the PML-N is in favor of bringing a no-confidence motion against Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi if the numbers are fulfilled.

On the other hand, Nawaz Sharif said that Imran Khan and Pervaiz Elahi should be allowed to dissolve the Punjab Assembly themselves. They will be exposed in the fight. He also sent a special message to Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain.

Asif Ali Zaradri said that we cannot leave the situation in Punjab like this; we have to take unanimous decisions soon.

Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that Pervaiz Elahi is playing on Imran Khan's wicket.

The government allies agreed to continue the consultation process on the issue and to call a PDM meeting soon.
