PM Shehbaz Sharif, COAS Asim Muneer discuss Pak Army's professional matters

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Chief of Army Staff General Asim Muneer called on Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif at PM House on Wednesday.

The prime minister congratulated the COAS on assuming the office of the army chief.

"It is a great honour to lead the Pak Army. Under your leadership, I hope that the armed forces will counter the security challenges in the country in a better way," he added.

He said that the nation has full confidence in professional capabilities of the Pak Army. "The nation is proud of the role of the Pak Army for protecting the homeland and eliminating terrorism," he added.

During the meeting, they also discussed the professional matters of the Pak Army.
