PM Shehbaz Sharif, COAS Asim Munir inquire after health of injured people

PESHAWAR (92 News) - Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Chief of Army Staff General Syed Asim Munir inquired after the health of people injured in the suicide blast in Police Lines mosque.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif presided over a meeting on law and order. All authorities concerned were also present.

The Peshawar corps commander briefed the meeting about t he factors and motives behind a new surge in terrorism.

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa IG present the preliminary report on the suicide attack.

Speaking on the occasion, PM Shehbaz Sharif said that terrorists wanted to spread fear by attacking the security institutions. "We will fail the terrorists by the unity of the state and the nation," he added.

The prime minister said that the government will fully ensure the implementation of the National Action Plan.
