PM Shehbaz Sharif directs to expedite restoration process of basic infrastructure in flood-hit areas

SUHBATPUR (92 News) – Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif directed to expedite the process for drainage of water in flood-affected areas besides restoration of basic infrastructure. 

During a briefing at flood-hit area of Sohbatpur, Balochistan on Wednesday, he said that relief and rehabilitation activities must be accelerated in flood-stricken areas. “Tents received from Turkiye would be distributed in flood-affected areas of Balochistan.”

On this occasion, Balochistan Chief Secretary Abdul Aziz Uqaili briefed him about the ongoing relief and rehabilitation activities.

The Chief Secretary said that more than 200,000 mosquito nets have been distributed among the flood-affectees in the area. “Medical camps have been established to ensure timely provision of medical facilities to flood-affected people,” he concluded.
