PM Shehbaz Sharif exempts 17 million consumers from fuel adjustment charges

DOHA (92 News) - Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Tuesday announced that 17 million consumers will be exempted from the fuel adjustment charges.

Talking to the media, he said that fuel adjustment charges will be waived for 300,000 agriculture tube-wells.

The prime minister said that the government is considering a relief for 13 million commercial consumers. "The country was on the verge of being bankrupt due to wrong policies of the former government," he maintained.

Shehbaz Sharif said that t he government is striving to control the inflation due to policies of the former government.
