PM Shehbaz Sharif expresses wish to make Saudi Arabia a role model for economic progress

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has expressed the wish for making Saudi Arabia a role model for economic progress.

In an interview with Al-Arabia News, the prime minister said that Pakistan and Saudi Arabia are partners in peace and prosperity. "Pakistan wants to benefit from Saudi experiences. Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has achieved innumerable successes in the IT sector," he maintained.

The prime minister said that the Pakistan government is paying a special attention to economic progress. "Pakistan faces problems in the power sector. The power theft is a problem. The transmission system is weak. The production of costly energy is another problem," he added.

He said that the government wants to introduce reforms at a large scale.
