PM Shehbaz Sharif has decided to form judicial commission to probe Arshad Sharif's death: Marriyum

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has decided to form a judicial commission to probe the death of journalist Arshad Sharif.

This was disclosed by Federal Minister for Information Marriyum Aurangzeb here on Tuesday.

She said that representatives of the civil society and media will be able to take part in the commission to thrash out the facts. "The prime minister has phoned the Kenya president and demanded impartial and transparent investigations into the tragic incident," she declared.

Meanwhile, Prime Ministerr Shehbaz Sharif said: "I have decided to form a judicial commission to hold an inquiry into the killing of journalist Arshad Sharif in order to determine the facts of the tragic incident in a transparent and conclusive manner."

On the other hand, the body of Arshad Sharif has been shifted to Doha from Kenya. The body will reach Islamabad at 1am.
