PM Shehbaz Sharif lauds CDA, ICT admin for cleanliness drive during Eidul Azha

ISLAMABAD (APP) - Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Thursday appreciated the Capital Development Authority (CDA) and Islamabad Capital Territory Administration for effectively carrying out the cleanliness drive during Eidul Azha.

On his X timeline, the prime minister also appreciated CDA chairman and Islamabad Chief Commissioner Muhammad Ali Randhawa over the commendable operations during the three days of Eid.

“I deeply appreciate Muhammad Ali Randhawa, Chairman CDA/Chief Commissioner Islamabad and Islamabad Capital Territory administration for effectively executing a commendable cleanliness drive during Eidul Azha. Shabash (Well Done),” he remarked.

The Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) administration disposed of about 0.2 million offals and over 1,750 tons of waste during Eidul Azha.

Last year, about 94,000 offals were disposed of in the Federal Capital on Eid. This year, the administration worked tirelessly to ensure that offals and waste were collected from every household, said the spokesman for the ICT administration.
