PM Shehbaz Sharif pays tribute to Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA), companions
ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has paid tribute to Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA), companions.
In a message on Youm-e-Ashur, he said that humanity must seek guidance from exemplary character of Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA) and his companions. “The message of Imam Hussain (RA) will continue to inspire humanity for a world order based on equality and freedom.”
As humanity navigates multiple challenges & seeks to break the logjam it finds itself in, it must seek guidance from exemplary character of Imam Hussain (ra) & his companions. The virtues of patience, loyalty, unity & tolerance can defeat the forces of division, chaos & anarchy.

On the other hand, President Dr Arif Alvi said that the philosophy of sacrifice of Hazrat Imam Hussain (Razi Allah ho Ta'ala Anho) is a beacon of light for all Muslims. “This day reminds us that we should always be ready for struggle with patience, steadfastness, and courage, at the individual and collective level for victory and success of virtue.”
