PM Shehbaz Sharif phones Qatar amir, both agree to work together on all issues of common interest
ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif called Sheikh Tamin Bin Hamad Al Thani, the Amir of the State of Qatar, on Monday to greet him on the auspicious occasion of Eidul Fitr.
The prime minister also conveyed his best wishes for the brotherly people of Qatar.
The Amir of Qatar warmly reciprocated the greetings and extended best wishes for people of Pakistan. Both leaders expressed satisfaction over excellent state of bilateral relations and resolved to carry forward robust political and economic cooperation that exists between the two countries.
The two leaders agreed to maintain close contact and work together on all issues of common interest. The prime minister invited the Amir of Qatar to visit Pakistan at an early date. The Amir also extended an invitation to the prime minister to visit Qatar.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif telephoned Sheikh Sabah Khalid Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, Prime Minister of the State of Kuwait, to extend Eid greetings. He also conveyed best wishes for the brotherly people of Kuwait on the auspicious occasion of Eidul Fitr.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif thanked the Kuwait prime minister for the special care taken by the Kuwait government for the Pakistanis living and working there.
The prime minister also extended an invitation to the Prime Minister of Kuwait to visit Pakistan at an early date.
