PM Shehbaz Sharif resolves to give maximum relief to common man in budget
ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif presided over a meeting of the PML-N Parliamentary Party at Parliament on Wednesday.
During the meeting, the prime minister took the parliamentary party into confidence regarding the budget.
Addressing the meeting, the prime minister said that they had brought the country out of the quagmire of economic difficulties and brought it in the direction of stability. “The history is a witness that we saved the economy of the country by sacrificing our politics. With the help of Allah Almighty and under the leadership of PML-N president Nawaz Sharif, we saved this country from bankruptcy,” he declared.
The prime minister said that the conspiracies of those who dream of bankrupting the country have failed. “The conspiratorial group threatened the security of the country and insulted those who sacrificed their lives for the country. I have been in practical politics for years, but I have seen such anarchist politics for the first time,” he added.
PM Shehbaz Sharif expressed the hope that his efforts and hard work will meet the expectations of the people. “The trust of the friendly countries and investors in the government's economic policies and the increasing foreign investment is the result of the hard work of the government team. Maximum relief will be given to the common man in the budget. Steps will be taken for the relief of the workers, farmers and salaried class,” he added.
The PM expressed the resolve to effectively respond to lies and propaganda about the budget. “We have to work day and night for the economic stability of Pakistan. The nation will be provided basic health, higher education and equal opportunities for development. Providing employment to the talented workforce of this country is one of our top priorities. Education and training in the field of IT will be ensured for the youth. Women have to work hard to empower and provide them with dignified employment,” he maintained.
The prime minister said that wherever he went in the world, he sought investment instead of loan as investment comes where there is peace and political stability. “Respectful nations change their destinies through hard work, dedication and courage. Learning from China and other developed countries, we have to create our own bright future in the context of the objective conditions of Pakistan. Thanks to the efforts of our team, inflation has come down substantially. The upee has stabilized against the dollar, while the stock market has a bullish trend. By the grace of Allah, the hard work of the government's economic team has started to yield positive results,” he concluded.
During the meeting, Federal Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb gave a detailed briefing on the budget to the members. The members expressed full confidence in the budget prepared by the economic team of the government under the leadership of the prime minister. Federal ministers and MNAs belonging to the PML-N participated in the meeting.
