PM Shehbaz Sharif suspends fixed tax

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif suspended the fixed tax, directed to prepare a new action plan.

PM Shahbaz Sharif ordered an inquiry into the application of fixed tax higher than the rate. Directed to include the business representatives in the consultation for the new process of fixed tax collection.

The Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also directed to devise an effective way to reduce electricity rates for the poor.

PM Shehbaz Sharif specially asked for the inclusion of representatives of traders in consultation process prior to taking any decision for collection of taxes from small traders through the utility bills.

Shehbaz Sharif also expressed his government's resolve to take all steps for economic protection of poor segments of the society.
