PM Shehbaz Sharif thanks Indian counterpart Modi for extending felicitations

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has thanked Indian counterpart Narendra Modi for extending felicitations on his election as premier.

In a tweet on Tuesday, he said: "Pakistan desires peaceful and cooperative ties with India. Peaceful settlement of outstanding disputes, including Jammu and Kashmir is indispensable. Pakistan's sacrifices in fighting terrorism are well-known. Let's secure peace and focus on socio-economic development of our people."
