PM summons NCC meeting today to take decision on easing lockdown

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan has summoned a National Coordination Committee (NCC) meeting today. According to the details, the meeting will be held in Islamabad today to take a final decision on easing lockdown restrictions in the country. The meeting is expected to discuss decisions made during the National Command and Operation Centre meeting on Wednesday. Decisions made during Tuesday’s federal cabinet meeting are also likely to be discussed. All four chief ministers will attend the meeting via video link. The NDMA chairperson will also be included. The federal cabinet has already decided to further ease lockdown restrictions during Tuesday’s meeting. The main issue to be discussed is likely going to be whether the countrywide lockdown will be extended.
